He doesn’t realise it right away, but his whole world shifts, and something happens to him which he never planned, never even thought possible for someone like him. The familiarity of his routine is suddenly interrupted, changed forever. It just so happens that one Saturday night, Drew’s life changes in a place he never thought it would, in a way he never would. Whether these surprises are good or bad, they happen. Albeit fictional, this novel does have many home truths, regarding how people think and act and the world around them. However, life is full of surprises, and this novel is no exception to this rule. With Drew, every day is meticulously planned out, with very little room for error or unplanned things popping up. However, this isn’t quite that oh-so-talked-about book.) He has his life exactly how he wants it, no exceptions. (Does this sound familiar? I didn’t pick up the other ones in case I didn’t like it – but I can say, I will be going back for the follow-ups. There were a couple of other books by Emma next to it, and I actually picked one of the others up first but quickly realised they were a series, and, finding out Tangled was first, added it to my pile. I don’t know why I felt the urge to pick it up when my eyes fell upon it, but after reading the blurb, I decided to give it a go. I picked up this book when I was at the library the other day. (I’ll link you with more at the bottom of this post).
